So you think i'm likely to get a bad deal with dell? Sorry if i'm a little confused, does that mean you'd go with the U2311H, or the acer? CNET seems to think highly of the Samsung PX2370 and Samsung XL2370, are these any good? Or am i barking up the wrong tree?

So of the three suggested, which would u all say is the best for me to try next, Acer G245H, Dell P2411H, or Dell U2311H? What of the ASUS VW246H, is it any good?

Well because if i went with 23" in the 16:9 format, i'd have less vertical real estate than the old 22" 16:10 monitors they would be replacing. :( Don't get me wrong, if the 24" version of the U2311H wasn't $550 i'd do it in a heartbeat.

I had heard dell's were not that good, i take it that is no longer the case?
