Help settling on a budget E4300 PSU

It is only $8 cheaper than the Corsair HX-520.. I really don't plan to upgrade anything besides my HDD with this rig. That is why I'm not selecting a P35 mobo. I really wouldnt want to spend $90 and a PSU, but I do not want to sacrifice quality at the same time..

    Please critique my build

I don't know if I should go w/ a P35 board. As mentioned earlier, I do not plan to upgrade the build. So upgrading to a Quad next year for example is not planned, In 2-3 yrs thats another story. I guess I just want a solid budget Core Duo rig. I want to play games such as: Fifa 2008, NFS...

Help on selecting a mobo for E4300

Is there really a big advantage in selecting a P35 board? I would thing that the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 would be a nice budget choice, while I will do my next upgrade when Penryn/Nehalem and DDR3 would be the standard; so in about 2+ yrs I would guess. Core Duo should be stable for quite a while...

Help on selecting a mobo for E4300

Hi, I initially wanted to wait till July 22nd and go with a Quad Q6600 system. However, since I'm not a huge gamer and not planning to play heavy games such as Crysys or Oblivion+ based on the fact that I mostly use my computer for multimedia (mp3+movies) and internet. So to save some money, I...

Help deciding on a video card for the average gamer.

Allright. After giving the topic some thought, I decided not to purchase the E4300. Instead I will wait for the expected price drop on July 22nd for the Q6600. I will also get the Nvidia 8800GTS 320mb, which should be cheaper in July as well... Thanks for the replies!

Help deciding on a video card for the average gamer.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys. Unfortunately, they are mixed. I guess I've expected it... :( I can afford the X1950XT (256mb). I will really have to make some extra $ if I want to purchase the much talked about Nvidia 8800 GTS 320mb. I read some more reviews and they all mention the...
