I just got done building custom ATX and EPS cables for my Corsair SF450 and MSI H110i combo using the same method that Pantera_666 has outlined on this forum (i.e. using short "patch" wires on the PSU end for the double wires). I varied the lengths of the ATX wires from 145mm to 105mm to match...

Just played Doom (2560 x 1080 Ultra) for around two hours and the hottest the CPU got was 60C and the GPU max was 83C. Although the ambient temp in the room is 31 C (there's a goddamn heatwave in Sydney at the moment) so delta temps of 29C for the CPU and 52C for the GPU.

Agreed. Surely someone out there will whip up some short cables for less than the required tools will cost. Any suggestions for alternatives to cablemod that would make short ATX/EPS/PCIE cables for the Corsair SF450?
