    2080ti trouble shooting

5x magnify on my phone, I don't see obvious corrosion anywhere, nothing green/brown, crusty or otherwise.

    2080ti trouble shooting

no, after the flash, the card is still booting fine, and I can query it with the mods/mats tools in linux. the mats tool is still showing random errors on random memory banks. I cleaned up the IC with some alcohol, still acting the same. Starting to think it's beyond my repair capability. Might...

    2080ti trouble shooting

1.8v at the vcc pin on the IC, diode mode voltage drop of .375 from vcc to ground. Also the board boots fine just gets those memory errors across every bank. Also, not condescending at all. I appreciate the insight. I have a hot-air station, and am willing to give it a try for learning sake...

    2080ti trouble shooting

Found a youtube video that explains where the power rails are and how to measure. This is what I'm getting. Also tested vcc on the qpi ic and got 1.8v. Diode mode testing of the qpi vcc pin to ground pin shows .375v , not sure if this is good or bad, just trying to get as much info out there as...

    2080ti trouble shooting

We are working with a Gigabyte RTX 2080Ti Windforce OC , using my phone zoomed in, I couldn't find anything that stood out as bad, other than that QPI IC, and it did look like corrosion, but nothing looks green and crusty, or dried liquid anywhere on the board.

    2080ti trouble shooting

yeah, that's what I'm hoping, the nvidia memory testing tool throws errors on each of the memory banks at random each test, so either something physical on the board, or the gpu memory controller itself (hopefully not this)

    2080ti trouble shooting

picked up a broken 2080Ti and was curious if anyone has some insights. Card boots up fine and outputs video in linux, and visual inspection of the board looks fine except for what looks like crud coming out of a IS25WP080D-JNLE chip that I've ordered a replacement for. I've run nVidia MATS tool...
