Is there any chance you have got a review for the Asus Rampage DDR2 in the works?
I have based a lot of my builds over the years on what you guys have given high marks to, and have had great success doing so. I'm waiting to see what the community has to say about the Rampage but I really am...
How is the 2490 for gaming? Beautiful stills are one thing...fast paced FPS with full on features are what I want to use it for.
Just too damn many different types, models, prices of LCD's
Is there any 24" lcd that will be close to my GDM FW900 in perf and function?
The reason I run it @ 1280x1024 is because at 1600x1200 the text is pretty small and it will only stay stable/doesn't vibrate at 60hrz, having a 8800GT card doesn't seem to make any difference either. ....at the larger rez i can run it at 100hrz so I get no flicker = no migrains.
I stretch...
I currently have a sony GDM FW900 24" CRT that is starting to get the jitters, so I am thinking about going to a Dell 24 or 27 incher LCD. However, I noticed the refresh rates at the rez i like (1280x1024) is only 60hrz? ....60hrz on the Sony shows terrrible flickering, and gives me a headache...
take out those stupid copper thingy's ...I'm not sure what the idea behind em was but none of my expansion cards would fit right until i yanked those all out and ditched the "tool-less" plastic tab securing stuff. Good old screws work just fine.
Hello,
I've taken air cooling as far as i can go with my thermaltake armor and am thinking about WC my next build. I have been looking over some different products and would appreciate thoughts, and comments, good or bad, about this case...

If they are two tiny horizontal lines equidistant from each other and top and bottom they are in all Trinitron screens. I can't even see the ones in mine anymore, but I have been using Trinitron monitors for over 6 yrs now. At first they seem very annoying but after a while you don't even notice...
Now all you need is one of these to really add the custom "wow" factor

oh second thought occured although too late: If you can get a small punch that is the same diameter of the rivet core, just punch out the center from the head side of the rivet. Then work the punch in a circular pattern inside the rivet thus cutting the head off. This way you don't...
Since anodizing is a chemical etch process that eats into the aluminum only about 3 or 5 microns roughly, why didn't you just start off sanding the panels instead of messing with chemical stripping? Also I would finish it up with alum oxide scotchbright pads (prior to using compounds) to make...
I have the Armor, so I can only comment on it.
1) It's friggen heavy, if you never need to move it you'll be alright. If you are a lan party type forget it.
2) the peripheral slots have funky plastic locks and some copper bushing/bracket thing that just make mounting things like graphics...
