Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I plan to get a Westinghouse LVM-37w3 in about, oh, 2 to 3 months when I get enough money (my money right now is going into a new computer).
Anyway, I am having a lot of problems deciding on this monitor . . . I either want the Westy, or a 24"/26" monitor. I WANT the Westy primarily, but...
Gigabyte GA-N680SLI-DQ6, and the article.
I wonder if it is any good. . . . Might decide to get this over the eVGA 680i, but not sure.
I might also get the Abit instead, of these reviews turn out well for it.
NeoSeeker, though I do not know much about that site, has a review of the...
I am considering the 680i . . . but I have a lot of doubts now from reading about it on Forums; problems with X-Fi cards (I plan to get an X-Fi), SATA, and so on.
I am really thinking about ditching it and going for the Asus P5N32-E SLi Plus now.
I plan to do it in about 3, 5 weeks . . . depends on when I get enough money.
I already have a case, which is a Gigabyte Poseidon
(The abbreviated sections to the parts are the model numbers; makes it easier to find on NewEgg and the like)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
GPU: eVGA GeForce...
Well, I was not talking about the Parhelia (if that is what you meant by the Matrox card) . . . they have a hook-up system where you plug three monitors into this device, which then goes to your computer. And it sends 3 (one to each) 1280x1024 displays to each monitor.
Anyway, any specific...
Are you talking about Matrox Surround Gaming, or just having three monitors hooked up?
If you are talking about Matrox, then you can only use 19", non wide-screen for it to take up the entire monitors.
Ergotron DOES make some really sexy stands, though . . . like the LX Triple Display:
Long...
What is a good online retailer to get a Westinghouse LVM-37W3 from? All of the sites I looked at have no return polices PERIOD soon as I open the box, except like one.
So, if, by some absurd event, the box did not even contain the monitor, I could not return it.
I could return it if I buy it...
My current card cannot support it . . . but by the time I get the Westy, I will have a new computer, which should have an 8800GTX.
I am probably going to grab a 19" (or some other normal sized WS) monitor when I get the Westy, mainly for Supreme Commander (so I do not have to split the screen...
Can I get some more people to confirm the Westy LVM-37W3 is not grainy, at least when hooked to a computer through DVI-D?
That is now my only iffy about the Westy 37W3 . . . somebody said it was the set-up, but I just want more than one person's say on this.
Thanks, that helps a lot. I looked at a lot of close-up pictures of the Westinghouse in action . . . not grainy at all, looked awesome.
Now just to get more confirmations before I make it a certain not-going-to-change-my-mind-again decision.
I will be getting it from JR if I get it, not BestBuy.
The closest store that carries the W3 is in Pensacola, which is at least a 2 hour drive from here; and BestBuy charges more than JR.
One thing that I noticed when I looked at the display, was that one specific part of the video it showed...
