I've been considering tinkering with a water cooled setup for some time, and plan to do so in the coming months. However, my primary concerns are, price, performance, maintenance.
I'm not looking for the most high performance rig available. I've had consistent problems with air cooling (dust...
If its 'capable' of dual monitors, then it has two ports. If its a 9800 then it probably has one VGA port (your standard video port) and one DVI port (flatscreens). The card should have come with a DVI-VGA adapted so that you can use the DVI port with a standard monitor.
If you were to...
I have an HK AVR630 and it is fantastic. I've never been happier with a product, especially for the price I picked it up for (about $600 when it was new, epp program). As stated HK's are high current, high wattage and pretty low THD. The model in this thread is simply the lower model of what I...
Hahaha... I think someone needs a custom title!
As I'm sure you are refering to monitor arms, try:

Wow supports widescreen, I dunno about UTK2004 but I would be seriouslys urprised if there isn't a way to force widescreen (most FPS's have a way).
In fact, I've yet to play any games with bars, the monitor does a pretty nice aspect stretch job when necessary, like BF2. So far, I have yet to...
I got mine a few days ago and its 100% perfect. No dead pixels, and I can't find any serious leakage. I have to say, I was pretty releived after reading these boards!
Sounds like the backlight is powering down for some reason when it shouldn't be. Laptops generally have a setting for this, but it serves no real purpose on desktops.
My suggestion is to call HP as you said, it sounds defective to me, especially if the change is dramatic. It's probably just...
I can get the Human Scale products pretty cheap (cost) actually, and several other brands. Was considering ordering a bunch and offering them up to you guys if people were interested.
I should find out exactly what I can get and some general prices today. I'll post um when I get um.
It would be a non-native resolution. What that means is if you were to run both the 2405 (non-native) at 1680X1050 and the 2005 (native) at 1680x1050, the 2005 would look quite a bit better.
So my Dad sells this stuff for a living (office ergonomics, monitor arms, keyboard trays, etc), I gave him a call and asked him if he could get me some prices. He gets them at cost so should be pretty good deal. He only uses very high end stuff, but he gets it rediculously cheap.
If you guys...
So I'd like to get some LCD's for both of my machines. Going to hook them up with a dual monitor arm (my dad happens to sell this kind of stuff, lucky me), have the second screen switchable between the two computers. I have yet to make the plunge because I'm still a little unsure about a few...
Not to thread jack, but somewhat related quesiton:
Has anyone tried doing a dual monitor setup where the second monitor is on a KVM switch? So you can switch it between a secondary display and a primary display for another computer? In theory there shouldn't be a problem, but I'm wonderif if...
