Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Two vertical FHDs I assume. The width of the setup would otherwise be 71 cm + 53 cm + 53 cm = 177 cm plus bezels, but with FHDs vertical it's only 131 cm (plus bezels).
An added bonus I noticed now is that those are both 92 DPI.
A poor man's version of your display would then be two 27" 1440p side by side. This would require going to a primary and secondary type of setup but maybe I could handle that.
I've been addicted to tiling window managers for some years now. I use mostly linux, though I virtualize Apple's...
Hello
An engineering student, currently using a 24" 1920x1200 as my main monitor, with one 20" 1680x1050 and one 19" 1440x900.
My intention is to have one main and one or two auxiliary displays. But I have no idea what size and resolution I should aim for. I use both Windows and linux.
I've...
According to Asus, BE209QLB is IPS. Of all 1400 x 900 panels, all 19" are TN, but most 19.5" or 20" are IPS. But since it is a "business" display, there will probably never be any "gaming" features.
There are a few options.
20" 1600 x 1200 is mostly a failed attempt. There is some company in China that produces monitors of this size in bulk. Minimum 50 pcs. Of some other sizes you can order a sample.
19" 1280 x 1024 has good choices from Philips and Asus. Philips has three models, of which...
Hello
I have a 32" Asus as my main display. My desktop doesn't have limitless space, and this 32" is quite wide. I do own a 24" 1920x1200, a 22" 1680x1050, a 20" 1680x1050, a 17" 1280x1024 (or two), but they are all CCFL backlighted and therefore use a lot of power and generate a lot of heat...
Somehow 16:10 is more pleasant to look at than 16:9. I have two 16:10 and one 16:9 now, and the 16:9 is the biggest, newest and the best of them quality-wise. Still I find the 16:10 aspect ratio better. If I had the money, I'd get a 30" 2560x1600.
Hello
I purchased a power consumption meter from my local HW store. Putting it to test on my three displays (no gaming, just random reading, developing, surfing, studying) that are driven from an Evga GT710, I got that my more than 10 year old 24" Dell (the wide gamut 2407) consumes 62 W...
As I said, I wanted one with 1) screws, i.e. not toolless, 2) rugged in some way. I found http://www.raidsonic.de/products/external_cases/external_cases_25/index_en.php?we_objectID=2702 (RaidSonic IB-276U3)
A good thing to know about UASP. Now I'm still looking for another case that likewise 1)...
Hello
I am looking to buy some SSD to replace mechanical hard disks in a couple of laptops. Would like to have as nice as possible external enclosures to put those mechanical disks into.
Basically, USB 3.0 is fast enough. I'd like to have a case that is somehow rugged and has some design to...
