    Mmn... I was afraid that may be the answer. I've actually only gone crazy on one of my UPSs. (Some little generic power-strip looking model.) Just the way it was assembled it was neigh-impossible to get the board out without more effort than I was willing to spend. So that little speaker...

    Perhaps an odd request... (well, at least odd enough that I didn't see anything searching the forum...) but does anyone know of any UPS models that have either no alert, or an alert that can be switched completely off? When the entire block suddenly goes dark, I don't really need a damned beep...
