Yeah I think you are correct about the theating issue. To do a kind of test without opening it up I just setup a really powerful fan to sit and blow on it(I propped up the laptop so that the fan could contact the most possible surface area) and the issue seems to have dissapeared.

I think this is what you are looking for. I'm not really a C++ programmer but if I understand you, this will do the trick. This program will take the user's input like 3k and returns it multiplied out. If the user enters 3k, the program will output 3000, and etc. hope this helps...
