I'm working on my first hard loop setup, and I'm incorporating the tubing as part of the artwork and aesthetic.
I'm basically turning the mame/Steam arcade cabinet I built, 6+ years ago, into a full-on PC case, with water tubing running throughout, and a PC attached to the cabinet with a...
I'd imagine there would be some company catering to an enthusiast market...those people who want 4k @ 60Hz on their HTPC...like me. Then again, the market life for such a product would only last a year or two until effectively the native HDMI 2.0 cards overtake the legacy HDMI cards.
That...
From what I've heard, there is no need for a specific HDMI 2.0 cable necessary to get the full benefits of the HDMI 2.0 specs. Does that mean that I should be able to use a standard display port to HDMI adapter and have the ability to achieve 4k@60hz, as long as I am connecting to an HDMI 2.0 port?
Man, I was excited about HDMI 2.0, but it's fairly half-baked...I really thought they would try to future proof it, but nope...that's ridiculous.
I would be happy, though, with gaming at 1080p at 60Hz in 3D...for now...but I hate that I would then be buying into tech that can't scale with what...
Bummer...I was hoping that with DisplayPort technology it would be possible, but I guess there are no TVs with true 120Hz display, which would be required for 1080p 3D at 60hz. Boo!
Are there any TVs that support 1080p with 3D at 60Hz? I've read Panasonic TVs support DP technology, but not sure if they support 3D at 60Hz over that technology.
