Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey those are just a rich man's toy (I mean they have got to have more money then sense). Even though the quality is jaw dropping it's just too small to be practical. As stated when the price goes down and the size goes up it's just a tech demo.
The Macbook Pro has been updated. Multi-touch trackpad, penryn, double the video RAM.(maybe more things have been updated but i don't know.)
PS, Macbook has gotten the penryn treatment as well.
just taking a stab. Would the logitech headset be the root of the usb hub dying? It might be the headset drawing too much power (combining with other items) causing it to die. (as I said before I'm no expert I'm just taking a wild stab.)
Thanks...I guess not turning pure direct on is a good choice for me (my sound card doesn't allow speaker delays does allow manual bass crossover). Not a choice that everyone should use I guess. Again thanks for the info:D
In my experience you got to turn your receiver to a certain volume level before the sub would stay on. For me to be save is -35db, if it's lower then that my sub would sometimes turn it self off since there isn't enough bass signal. No puredirect doesn't "have" to be enabled if you don't want...
Hey,
I own a very similar setup and use it for movies, games & mp3 listening. This is what I own:
Definitive Tech ProMonitor 800 x 4
ProCenter 1000
ProSub 800
Yamaha RX-V661
Auzentech X-Meridian.
Belkin PureAV 3.5mm to RCA LR cable x 3
Due to software issue of the sound card I don't have...
I dug through all the Nvidia's websites and Dell's but I still couldn't find an answer. Wonder does anyone have a 360 HD DVD drive to test it out? Thanks if anyone would be kind enough to try? I myself would bug Dell for some answers, maybe if I am mean enough they might tell me if there is...
I know it's off sort of topic but would the M1330 have a blu-ray drive option? If not would the 8400GS support HDCP? I am just hunting for a blu-ray ultraportable (and I know it's not really practical to watch blu-ray outside of home but i still want it) to use @ home and starbucks for web surfing.
Hey d00d that looks like my setup. I got Yamaha RX-V661 and Def Tech Pro Cinema 800 5.1. I hook them up by using analog 5.1 using three 3.5mm stereo to RCA cable. Good choice though :D
I like the good sound card analog route better though. Lossless audio from HD DVD, BD and DVD-A can only be...
Darn! how much did you get the scaler for?
Anyways back on topic. Good to hear that your Westinghouse is working well for you. I know that it's a charm if the Westy works. It's almost like dating ( I confess too, never had a date:D. Reason being that I spend too much time & $$ "[H]ard-on"...
Okay, I have owned 2 LVM-42W2 and it all had problems (both went back to BB). It's a freaking nightmare. Worst of all their customer services sucks ( I mean there were no customer service. They told me they would call back but they never did. I live in Canada, so maybe us canucks don't deserve...
The worst problem about Eee IMO is the 16gb SSD storage. Installing windows xp and all the different apps plus music is going to eat that amount of space in seconds. Even an ipod has more storage. But if you do not need much on your portable setup then the Eee looks really good.
Looks good for a sound card, would it sound good? Who knows. Oh yeah there is also another model codenamed D2X with PCI-Express X1.

 Seems to be using a in-house developed chip called AV200 which is said to be totally new.
