I can't do that...you guys have been so great to me, I'd feel like I'm bitting the hand that fed me=P But I'll try the firewire again tonight. Perhaps it was just me. I don't want you guys doing more work if its a fault on myside. So I'll check again tonight. Thanks as always for taking the...
Well Heather I acutally do have a question. My comp has a firewire port in the front but it was covered with a black cap. The first time time I tried to use it I didn't register anything when I plugged new hardware in. So I was wondering if you guys don' t enable that function (thus the black...
Acutally Gila, same thing happened to me. When my computer arrived it was DOA, the motherboard must have taken a hit because it didn't work. I believe UPS dropped it because the handle was ripped. UPS actually has been dropping the buck this time they may have not dropped it but if you read...
I just got my system last friday and the UPS man didn't even bother to knock on my door. I heard something outside and decided to go to the door and saw my comp on the door step and the UPS man walking away. He didn't even bother to turn around and come back for my signature.
What is UPS...
yup, chris guys were fast in helping me out. And even though i still have no computer I'm still a happy customer because everyone at VM has been so helpful in getting me up and running. Waiting for the computer i want is worth it, if i wanted instand gratification i would have just went to best...
Hi Bill,
I myself recently had to return my computer back to VM due to it arriving DOA. The handle on my box was ripped when it arrived leading me to believe that during transport some UPS worker was carrying it and most likely dropped it when the handle ripped. Since these systems are hand...
Anyone have a road map on what the future of intel holds? I have a C2D right now, but becuase I do a lot of video rendering and stuff i was considering moving to Quad when it comes out in the next months or so. However I would hate to upgrade to quad, and find out in a month or so intel has...
LMAO. I just got the VM newsletter in my email entitled "This Fall at Velocity Micro." With all the things going on...HP buying voodoo, dell buying alienware, i read the title as "The fall of Velocity Micro" and though omg they were bought out by gateway...Haha then i read again and let out a...
lol, chris it must be torture having such a toy in your hands and not being able to talk about it...I mean just thinking about it...*drool*...I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut. haha. The kentsfield seems so promising...The only problem I can find is that it makes the cpu in the computer...
Haha np Randy I understand. Yeah there is a lot of talk online about it being drop in and compatiable with C2D motherboards now. Just thought I could get a confirmation from a reliable source. Hey...can't blame a guy for trying :p can ya? Would be great if the rumors turn out to be true. It...
Heya Randy or Chris was just wondering about the Kentsfield processor. I read VM will be adding it to their builds. Are these processors going to be drop in with the current motherboards that your C2D systems are using? Or will you be using new motherboards all together?
Do all the other companies OC their system? I remember reading that VM doesn't make it a point to OC their system. And falcon's website doesn't say anything i recall about OCing? The only two that i know of that say they OC are OCPC and Hypersonic. Do all the other companies question in here...
VM will definetely take care of you. If you have any questions and maybe want perosnal help picking out a pc build that is just right for you give them a call. They'll walk you through whatever you need. VM is definetely a good place to go.
