Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The monitor I got came from China. It had a weird flat, 3-pronged power cord bundled in the box (which I have since learned is the Chinese standard plug), but the other end of that cord was a standard PC power supply female. I was able to use the same power cord that I used to power my old 30"...
Saw this for sale at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Philips-Bdm4065uc-Monitor-3840x2160-Truevision/dp/B00OO9YWR0). Ships from China in 5-15 days.
With Amazon's return policy, I'm super tempted to jump in now.
I have the 50", and I sit about 3.5' away. My eye-level is about 6 inches above the midpoint of the monitor. I find that I keep most of my windows around the center of the monitor. The edges are still very visible and bright, and often used for extra information, but I never put windows there...

The spec sheet for the 6950 lists 2560x1600 as the max resolution for every output, and I was unable to hack a...
Max resolution may not be listed on store sites like Newegg or Amazon, but if you go to the tech specs at AMD or Nvidia you can find the max resolutions listed. Example: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7990/Pages/radeon-7990.aspx#2
The trick would be doing this in a way that preserves the current 120Hz@1080p, without introducing severe input lag.
I bet a lot of people are willing to do #1. But #2 depends on the equipment required to replace the components.
Anyway, if you've got 4k60Hz tcon and input hardware that...
My guess (and it's just a guess) is that one of the units is sold via buy.com, and one from bestbuy directly. This would account for the different SKUs. Head over to Newegg or Tigerdirect and you'll see their have their own different numbers attached to the same model monitor.
