I'll give it a try. I didn't intentionally duplicate post. It would post and kept telling me to wait 30 seconds to post. Sorry but I think it was a glitch somewhere. Hopefully admin can clean them out.

There was another area in bios that I manually set the multi. took a while for me to find it . All the settings are hidden unless you change from auto to manual, then you see you choices as you know. Being new its quite a learning curve to find them. I get nervous when I don't know what I'm...

Unfortunately that didn't help. Dang thing still won't OC. Not even with clockgen. I must be missing something in bios.

Yes it stays at 12, however, when I increase to 233 it drops to 11.
