Does your monitor go on standby, or does it lose power completely? If it loses power, maybe you have it plugged in to one of those energy saving power strips, with the TV in the constantly powered outlet? Are you sure it's not an option in the OSD that you missed? Often when you change modes (on monitors in general, I don't have my U2711 yet), it will only change half the image to show you the difference, a sort of preview, then as soon as you select a mode, the entire image will change. Maybe... -
