    I do not know the specifics of your switch, but if you you switched mobos you had to reformat and reinstall, correct? The reformat/reinstall would be my answer to the quicker boot/load times at the beginning. It seems the more windows updates/patches you get the slower your windows load time...

    Not to get off topic... but what is the deal with 1280x1024? Almost every other resolution is in a 4/3 aspect ratio. 1280x960 is that correct ratio 4/3 ratios 640x480 800x600 is 1024x 768 is 1600x1200 is hell, even 1152x864 is I just don't get why the throw 1280x1024 in there...
