    I DON'T game on my computer anymore. I'm using it for my Mac Pro and the #1 criteria for me is brightness. 300 brightness is not good enough. #2 is that it's not an ugly monitor. :) Budget is about $600 at the max. Please help. Thanks.

    Backlight issue for my LCD?

    Hello, I have a 19" Dell E193 LCD monitor. When playing games when the enviroment is dark, the bottom of the screen seems bright. A lot brighter than other parts of the monitor. Is this normal?

    ANOTHER defective dell 2405fpw.. what now?

    The first one you got was prob. not even defective. It has a 1000:1 contrast ratio which makes very bright even when changing settings. Read the posts in the long thread and you'll see most people think it's very bright.
