    I hate to low ball the guy. $300 seems kind of fair, lol, it is supposedly as fast as a gtx580 when overclocked right? My cousin's nephew's uncle supposedly works for ati and said the 6970 is 30-40% faster in a few games than the GTX480, and 20-30% faster than the GTX580. And some dude at Beyond...

    There has been industry leaks that the GTX480 and 5970 will have huge price drops soon. Neighbor of mine is selling his EVGA GTX480 for $300 because he plans to upgrade. I wonder if I should bite now or wait. $300 seems like a decent deal even though I might have buyer's remorse in 2 months.

    So seriously: Why are the graphics in Black Ops worse than MW2, and it runs worse?

    It's just poor optimization, poor programming. A game that looks as bad as this one should not require a quad to get over 60fps, especially when mw2 actually looked a bit better. Just treat this as a lesson learned: don't buy games from activision.
