Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just bought a HDMI to DVI cable and connect it with my Denon 1920 DVD player.
It was fine when I use the PC RGB (color format) Mode but when I try to use the HD YPbPr Mode, color goes all green! And I couldn't tune it back to normal.
What actually goes wrong? I read the user guide about...
Thanks a lot Blue Falcon !! Very clear answer from you!! :D
I got one last thing which I am still not sure. The following message is quoted from an article about "page tearing" from teamxbox:
Chris Satchell: Users are correct; Page tearing is an artifact of changing the displayed frame...
Thanks a lot to all !!! I understand more!! Especially from larkin's reply!! :D
I got three question left:
1. Does "Screen Tearing" related to response time? Slow respone time = more tearing? Fast Response Time = less/no tearing?
2. Does "Screen Tearing" happen when FPS is lower than...
Thanks, Blue Falcon. Your answers make me understand more though I still not getting it all! :p
I wanna ask one more question. Does response time affect page tearing issue? Will it be a possibility that a game have page tearing on a 16ms LCD but not/less on a 8ms?
What I am going to say is just base on my understanding of the response rate, they might be wrong, please help to correct it!
Here's what I think:
As I have read the technical guide from tweakguides, LCD monitor response time is kind of equal to refresh rate. In order words, a 16ms means: in...
That makes me confuse... if the explaination I quoted was correct... does it means, tearing can occur in both higher and lower frame rate?
that explaination is saying the monitor refreshes and display a frame which is not totally drawn.
So, what you are trying to say is, the game is...
ToastyX , thanks so much.
I was worried about the tearing is caused by my lovely 2007WFP~!!
By the way, why the game developer doesn't enable the v-sync while making the game? Is there any difficulties for them to do that?
And, simply saying, if tearing occur, does it means the game is...
Actually, what I want to know is:
If there are 2 different montior, while playing the same game with same input source, is it possible to have one monitor having screen tearing but another one not?
Because it seems some people are not having the tearing problem on that game(at least they...
I have got my new 2007WFP, and I am using it to play xbo360, the game Blue Dragon.
But I encounter serious screen tearing during the game...
My question is, does it related to the 16ms respone time of the 2007WFP? I mean, does respone time affect screen tearing?
I heard that something...
Hello to all, I am new to here. I have just received my 2007WFP(Rev 02), and I did a lot of testing about the bending issue (just for VGA input)...
My conclusion is:
1. In "Fill Mode" there are no bending issue at all, no matter what resolution
2. In "1:1" and "4:3 (Aspect)" Mode, bandings...
