Noted. I currently own a Acer S200HQL GBD display. I'm hoping that the 1070 was appropriate for it despite all the "overkill for 1080p/60hz" opinions and I'd do anything to reduce potential screentearing via Fast Sync and/or FPS-locking.

As much as 1440p displays are awesome, I do not have the budget to upgrade to that component for now. So, has anyone in [H] tested this option with any of the GTX 1070/1080 GPUs??
