Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So Intel has just released new mobile parts using an 800 fsb. Other than the power envelope the T's using 35 watts and the E's using using 65, would their performance be the same?
I'll give another vote for Gateway. I've had mine for just over three months now, and haven't had any problems. I've installed a lowend video card and added some memory. It's a core2duo based machine and it's very quiet. Hope this helps :)

Back in '98 the Celeron 300A was a $180 dollar processor, the same as the current E6300. People forget that computers cost a lot more back then. The day the improved Celerons were released I ordered a Gatway 333C, That machine had the 333mhz Celeron and it was a $1500 dollar machine.
The December Issue of The Official XBox Magazine has a 15% off coupon for the game good through November 31st at Circuit City. The price after discount is $51.99 so if you are a subscriber or if you regularlly pickup up this mag, this might be a good deal.
I picked up a copy at Best Buy today and I'll add that it's indeed addicting. I lost like 2 hours that I didn't know were they went. This is the kind of game the 360 needs, it has enough shooters and racers.
-Another Update I've just installed FS X (had to call for activation) :) I happy with my purchase. I installed the video card. It was a little tight to install with the sata cable in the way. I think Gateway did a great cabling job though. I installed the two sticks of ram from the failed...
Update - I've just come back from BestBuy with the Gateway GT5238E. It's the Core 2 Duo system. I'll post my impressions later. I'm going to have to call microsoft and have them change the registration for FS to this system :(
I was looking at that system as well, It will take me a couple of more weeks to raise that $100 but I think it might be worth it. My only concern is the system seems to be limited to availability. In Chicago, out of the six stores in my area only one has any stock.
The 6600le is a PCI-E card. I know it's low end for Flight Simulator but like I said funds are limited. I prefer to go with a dual-core machine, since the machine that died had an Intel 920 processor.
Help! The system I put together 3 months ago has died :( That's what I get for using an ECS board  I don't have the time to rebuild and funds are limited $600 max. My video card seems ok. It's a Nvidia 6600le with 256mb of ram. I've been looking at these two systems:
system one...
