Fixed my issue that I posted about above... had to specifically try the 2013 Visual C++ and Visual C++ Redistributable Package. The 2015+ one didn't help.

Have a friend in the same boat; the only demanding game he plays is Warzone 2.0, other than that it's just MOBA's and similarly non-GPU intensive games. A used 6900XT at ~$500'ish would be perfect for him because it'll max out a 165hz 1440p or 120hz 4K monitor when running Warzone.

All good! I ported two systems over to a case that favors air-cooling this time around anyhow. Probably would have went with a different case if I managed to grab two Arctic LF II's of some sort, but I'm happy with the NH-D15's!

Has anybody been able to snag one of the $1000-$1050 ones from a Microcenter recently? Wonder how often they're restocking. Would like to stop by the local one around open but it's about a 40 minute drive one way.

Have been keeping an eye out but no luck. Went with a Noctua NH-D15 for now, definitely still want to scoop up a 280 or 360 if one of the B-Stock runs becomes available again. I'm guessing it's somewhat periodic after they get enough returns/refurbs?
