I'm not sure about that, but the current transition to 16:9 is the resolution problem, monitors smaller than 24" use a resolution of 1680x1050 (16:10) which is not quite 1080p.

Just got my monitor today! It's HUGE, way bigger than my 19" non-ws monitor. Anyways, just set it up and it looks great with 10e's profile, the colours looked too saturated with the profile that came with it. Haven't had a chance to install the drivers or play around with the other features...

Cool, thanks for clearing that up 10e. I'll post some feedback when I get the monitor, I'm using A VX924 right now so I should be able to tell whether I'm able to tolerate the input lag or not pretty quick I think.. which seems to be the big question/problem everyone has.
