Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have a similar experience.
My RAT 7 broke in about a year, the larger thumb button started doing the random double click feature.
That one was already a RMA replacement. The first one had a strange issue with the sensor, where the mouse would sometimes during fast movements only move on the...
I have a leftover PSU from my old non-ITX computer, which I'm planning on using for a server type system build. Overall the system should be as quiet and low power as possible.
The PSU is Newton R2 800W, 80 PLUS.
What it would be running is a low power motherboard and processor, either...
I came to the conclusion that it is normal. The sound is only a component of the overall sound, I basically hear it only if I pay some attention to it.
I tried with two extra fans the other day, and they make the same noise as well. It seems to be something to do with how the fans are built...
Would not recommend. I can think of multiple ways to get hurt while attempting what you describe.
I somewhat agree with the JapaneseGorilla. If you can't or don't want to buy proper tools, just borrow some from somewhere. Trying to cut holes to metal without proper tools is certainly...
I got the H100 yesterday and I have a small issue with the sound from the fans. In addition to the air moving and the general 'wooshing' sound fans make, they make another sound. It's a bit hard to describe, but it's like a hurRrRrR, like someone rolling r's.
I have the fans set to low from...
I helped a friend build a new PC into a Fractal Design Define Mini earlier this week. The Define Mini is almost the same size as Arc Mini. It's not particularly small; it's almost the same size as a full sized case. It's a bit cuter and more petite than a regular case, but not particularly small.
I sold my used first-gen 7" Galaxy Tab for 300. I paid 400 for it in early February, so it ended up costing me ~14 / month for the duration of ownership, so not that much. $150 is certainly not a bad deal. It all depends on what you want to do with it.
I tried to use it as an smartphone...
One of the big minuses in my opinion in MB Air is the lack of an internal 3G modem. Plugging a "big" external 3G modem on it seems a bit stupid, and carrying around mifi or something is just a turnoff.
I could get an smartphone and share the 3G connection of that through a wifi hotspot, but...
I did this just out of curiosity. I have RAM rated at 1.65V. I was expecting the PC to not boot up at all with the RAM set up at 1.5V but as it turns out, it did. It seems to even work quite nice. Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow morning on cold boot; I've had some issues with...
I was thinking about this earlier last week. In my mind I only had a large container of water in the room but the pool water was a far cooler idea. I like that someone has actually done it.
There is the oil sheikh version of this where you don't use a pump or a radiator of any sort; you just...
I take a different approach to this and question the question itself.
Do you even need the sound card? As far as I have read the motherboard integrated sound cards are very good nowadays. It's been a long time since they were first introduced.
When I do it, it's both to show off and both so people can't use my computer.
Another variation to this is just taking off the keys and mixing them up so they're in an incorrect order.
When we post reviews on how the mouse sensor worked or didn't work, can we please include the mousepads that were used in the testing? My R.A.T 7 is still in the mail though.
