Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
so if I get a HDMI switcher then I'll connect PS3 to switcher using HDMI -> HDMI cable, PC to Switcher using DVI -> HDM cable, and switcher to lcd using HDMI -> DVI cable?
DO I needa get good quality (expensive) cables?
I recently bought a PS3 and want to hook it up to my Dell 2407. But my problem is that I have Xbox 360 connected to the VGA and PC on DVI. I don't wanna connect PS3 to the component as everyone knows it sucks on the 2407. So I read that what I need is a DVI switch for PC and PS3. Any suggestion...
ok I've used both kits and I can tell you that the Corsair kit is a far better newbie kit than the gigabyte one. It is much easier to install and you have less components to worry about. But anyhow, I've just install my first performance setup last week and I'd say that it's a btter idea to skip...
Actually I was being too gentle lol. I tried again yesterday and with a little bit more force I can slip it in without problem. I have been running the 24 hr leak test and so far so good.
I just found out today that the mouths of the MCP655 won't fit the tygon tubes that I bought. the tube has ID 1/2" but the mouth's OD is 5/8". what should I do?
Thanks! Just one more question. When you said to keep the res as the highest point in the loop, do you mena only when it is bleeding or keep it there for eternity?
btw, I want to ask whether my PSU can handle my PC. It's a Enermax 500W PSU, and I have the following:
Intel bx2 motherboard
Intel E6700
Cosair 1gig ram x4
WD 160 HDD x2
LG sata dvd-r x2
GF8800 GTX
Actually it isn't the my first water setup strictly speaking. I have been using the Gigabyte 3d Galaxy II for about 6 months now and finally decided to make myself a real watercooling setup. Here is what I've ordered:
Swiftech Apogee GT
Black ICE GT 240
Swiftech micro reservoir
Swiftech...
Yes you should pick bx2.
I own both boards. I bought the P5W-DH first and are totally underwhelmed. I had random freeze up and the board isn't acting stable without any OC (with the newest bios). Then I rushed out and get the bx2. Now I couldn't be happier.:) I didn't return the asus board...
