Speak for yourself - still down here. It went down in the middle of a purchase for me, too :( edit: now up (23:38 PST).

there is something fishy about EVGA ACS3!

I recently got the XFX XXX and the 97.92 drivers picked up the overclock automagically, so I'm thinking the "ban" is lifted.

Is my monitor gone? not connecting? need help.

My CRT recently started doing that. I had to power mine off for a while and then power it on again. Also, I had to power it off before powering it on or bringing the monitor out of "sleep" mode. Also, check cables - power & video - on the monitor, too.

    System crashing... Video card problem?

Looks like a hardware problem to me, but I suppose it could be a driver issue. Has anything changed on your system (drivers, BIOS, etc.)?

    Video going out

Depending on your case and where the NB is on the mobo, you may be able to use a Zalman NB heatsink. It just depends on airflow. For example, in one of my P180 cases, I don't have fan installed in front. However, there's plenty of airflow coming off of the vidcard's flower heatsink/fan to...

have a wierd cable for an older (i think) monitor, few questions

It's a VGA to BNC cable. I use one for my CRT. If you no longer have a monitor with BNC ports, you don't need it. You might be able to sell it on ebay. As far as converting it goes, if you're really good at wiring, using a break-out box, etc., then take a shot. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

Unlikely. But, I'll be going on vacation for 2 weeks in a few months - I'll just send it in then. I would have waited if I could, but the monitor it's replacing is on it's last leg. This past Thursday it began having difficulty coming out of 'sleep' mode - it sounded like the thing had a...

Why wont it run my native resolution?

Most monitors do have inf files, though. If there is one available for your monitor you should use it. I have noticed that monitors generally work and look better when you install the inf.

    Is my monitor dead?

It's possible. Have you checked for a loose cable? Do you have another PC see if it will show something there? Does your video card have 2 ports on it so that you can try using the other one? Just some things to check.

    dual monitors problem

Boot into Safe Mode - it forces the resolution to 640x480 at Windows startup. If that doesn't work, it's not an issue with too little vram or the card not handling the resolution. Have you tried a different DVI cable? I was reading over in the Benq FP241W thread about how the Benq cable is...
