Buyer Beware: Misleading HDMI Cable Labels

You are quite right of course, if I'm paying 100 bucks for that cable, I would expect that the service at least be better, which I believe it is, since they offer 5 year/lifetime warranties, IIRC. I definitely agree that their product is not worth the price, but the quality is a bit better for...

Buyer Beware: Misleading HDMI Cable Labels

I feel like this argument doesn't really support the point, which is that as long as the cable has no major hardware defects, the digital signal will propagate through it just fine, whether its coat hangers or 1000 dollar cables. What your pointing to is likely just a defect with the cables...

    New mouse needed. Any suggestions?

Meh, I've head the g9 has more quality issues than logitech's other mice. I would recommend the g5 or mx518, as they're both quite cheap right now, with the release of the g500, which I have not seen or heard any reviews of, so I cant really suggest it as of now.

Spec me a new system please

Have you even clicked the link yourself? The link you provided has a i7 975. Can you please spec a computer out that includes a 975 for less than 1500? On topic, I agree with Joseph, i7 920 is not ideal for this price range, and not for gaming either. If you don't plan on overclocking, a...

    Physically moving computer tower

I must say this is strange indeed, since I am a college student, and I end up moving my computer a ton, between home and school and this has never happened to me. I don't do anything special, just unplug everything and turn off the psu. If you want to be really careful, you could probably...

$1700 (or so) small form factor gaming PC: First build

I have a feeling that university of phoenix would definitely have access to some free copies of windows operating systems. I currently attend school at UCLA and couldnt be happier that they provide the engineering students with free copies of vista business and xp professional and home. Just...
