Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
f*ckin Dell.
okay so this is my brothers PC. ive never dealt with this problem before so im hoping you guys can help me out.
my brother got the system to crash by clicking on an add tha was meant to look like an adware program popping up. it proceeded to assrape his hard drive. so far any...
okay so ive got an ATi Radeon 9600XT All In Wonder card currently in my Stacker, im cureently looking for an AGP upgrade. i was thinking about this sucker:

the XFX Geforce 6800XT. i was curious what sort of performance increase...
i hada similar problem with my P4P800. first thing to do would be to go and exchange the motherboard (be careful removingthe processor, i bent and broke off one of the little things and had to buy another one at 300$)
i heard the motherboard saying "CPU failed boot test" so i went and swapped...
i kinda had the same problem. i sanded the interior of the case, put a coat of primer the nadded a few coats of orange. after i put on a few coats of clear gloss. as soon as i put the HD cage back into its little slot a big chip of paint came off with ease. i ws kind bummed. if that could happen...
hmmm...wouldnt a single cold cathode (12 incher) do the same thing? a simple and small hole through the bottom of the case would be enough to get the wires through. there SHOULD be enough clearance for the cathode there, assuming you have a case with wheels or something.
im gonna have to...
yeah but you got it out. which would you rather have? a temporary hurt eye or permanent vision loss?
when i read "battle wounds" i though "oh cool, someones gonna attempt to make bullet style impacts in a case, complete with scorch marks, bent metal and everything else"
glad youre okay...
well im not 100% sure but i thik you might be able to do both. im not sure about the 3pin but the molex should connect through the power supply.
is the 3 pin male or female? pins or holes?
Maximum PC has a few books out that give step by step tutorials fro building PCs and modifying them. i have the modification book.

good stuff.
is it? ive got this stuff called Fast Steel that (when mixed) turns hard. i assume that its like liquid nails.
i plan to use some of the stuff i have to secure the motherboard mounts. as for putting it on the motherboar itself...i dont think so. that WOULD be insanity. simple screws would be...
this is why im a fan of links to images rather than the images themselves. i have to scroll in all 4 directions in hopes of seeing the complete image.
oh well
yeah i wont touch that comment either
oh boy.
mother tounge, huh? i beleive thats a song by Dead Can Dance.
edit: oh, mother LANGUAGE. where the hell did i see someone use "mother tounge" then?
(shrugs)
i dont know. perhaps.
if you think you can just throw in a motherboard and secire it youre wrong. firstly there are no mounts that would fit an ATX board. there ARE mounts fro a Mac board which, i found, will get in your way. i ended up taking them off.
i considered screwing in motherboard...
allright, im gonna try this with image shack. there sre links instead of images so that you wont have to scroll to the right in order to continue reading a sentance.
first off let me restate that the case i have is bare...and pretty bare at that...
