lol ... what I meant with 5x5' is the max size of the desk itself, I think it's pretty decent size. Also, it's a corner space, 5' spans left, 5' spans right, the length connecting each side will be much longer than 5'. I will increase my budget to around 700, no Ikea please ... pardon my...

:D just got hired working as web designer at a retail company here in ny ... i'm thinking about getting a cool design desk for myself at home now ... I only have approx 5x5' corner space next to my treadmill machine so it definitely can't be too bulky, budget? I will say around 400 to 600...
