    i don't even care about being able to record hd content i just want to be able to watch it through my computer if i can. it seems if you can use a tivo with your cable companies box then there should be a way to do it with a computer right? the tivo is pretty much a computer anyway.

I updated from ME to XP pro. since then i've tried to install the newer tivo desktop that will allow me to download shows off my tivo. before i couldn't becuase it didn't support ME. it prompts me that i need to uninstall the old tivo server before...
