Id the 560ti a good upgrade from the 5850? Or should I try to get a 570?

Currently have a 5850, and thinking about a ASUS 560Ti CUII. Would it be worth it? rest of system i7 950 Asus Formula 3 6gb ddr3 1600 earth watts 650

I have been leaning towards a Thermaltake Frio. But have read where HUGE coolers like this can interfere with ram slots. I have a Rampage 3 Formula, 6 gb Corsair Dominator. What will fit? I could possibly go for a H50. But that is tops I want to pay. I'd like to keep it around the $60 area...

Just got one from Newegg Open box, didn't get the driver Cd. Anyone make a ISO of theirs for me? Or point me in the direction of one.. Or where to BUY one? Looked on Asus Estore, couldn't find one... ?

If we repair the install will he lose any of his programs? This is the main issue. He wants to keep all his stuff he's downloaded. ( I guess it's downloaded stuff)

I have a friend who has a single core amd 3500. I have a 4800 x2 toledo. he's on xp pro. Will he need to reload windows if we swap cpu's? Can we make it work without reloading windows?
