Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I had a nightmare install, I had 4 installers out due to being in an area that had been bought by Comcast. I told them I wanted to be compensated since the first 3 installers could literally do nothing, and instead of being compensated with money I asked them to replace my old SB5100 modem with...
Purified water which makes up your Dasani and Aquafina is tap water that has been subjected to a process of purification. Usually this entails carbon towers to strip chlorine, reverse osmosis filters, UV lights, micron filters, and ozone injection. This process strips so much out that minerals...
First off a disclaimer. I do work for the bottled water industry. I am not a planted insider either as you can see I have been a member of the forums for some time but don't post as often as I should. I am first and foremost a GEEK at heart :) I also worked in the Soda business for 3 years...
That is actually a fresh idea that I don't remember ever bringing up. Nice.
Speaking from experience, my area didn't have broadband until we used Chapter 30 Act 183 legislation here in PA to force Verizon to deploy it. This is the Bonafide retail request legislation, basically you need 50...
How exactly does symmetrical service help an "avid downloader"? It would certainly help and avid uploader.
It is too bad that Fios only serves such a tiny part of the population and that some people will never see the service due to the area they live in being regarded as not being...
I agree. SLI is only for people in the following two categories:
1. Those that own CRT monitors who are able to run at huge resolutions.
2. Those that Benchmark more than they play games.
With anything less than a 20" LCD monitor SLI is a complete waste of money, a 7800 GTX can play...
This may be the best advice in here. I was bitten by the "early adopter" bug when SLI came out and it won't happen again. With only one crossfire MoBo available, I would steer clear until the solution has matured just a little bit at least ;)
The original nForce 4 SLI boards were FULL of problems. I had one of the 1st Asus A8N SLI Deluxe boards and after 8 bios releases in the first 2 months I gave up on it. I remember if you so much as sneezed wrong you wouldn't have any video signal. It also required a CMOS clear any time it...
