I have a 2405 and I love it, but if I had to choose, I would say get one of the new Gateway 21" widescreens that support HDCP and a 7800GT

OK, I am running into a wierd problem. Windows XP MCE doesnt seem to want to boot every time, it just hangs. It does not appear to be a hardware lock, just Windows just doesnt boot. If it happens and I hit reboot, sometimes it will come up, somtimes not.

I had that issue occasionally with both The Battle for Middle Earth and WoW. My guess is it is something to do with Driver support with my on board sound.

Usually what you can do is talk to your sales rep. Each site has an employee sales rep and if you call them you can usually get much better deals than just using the website.
to answer the original question, I have a 6600GT AGP...
Send it back. Some of the 2405's have bad component inputs which causes that kind of rolling lines through the HD Signal. Mine works perfect, but I have a couple of dead pixels. A replacement I had sent, had no dead pixels but the issue you described, so I just kept my original.
Well, my 2405 has 3 dead pixels. They are in the corners and I REALLY have to go hunting for them to find them.
With that being said, I did send it back to get a replacement, but the one they sent me had component input issues (still had 1 dead pixel too) so I just cut my losses.
