    Start with the reciever, its the brain unit of everything. There is an amazing difference in how cheaper recievers sound compared to slightly higher end. If you get a good reciever, it will make any pair of speakers come alive.

    Still no manager, and along with my G-Force visualizer i enjoy using i cant get the standalone to work unless i HAVE the realtek manager (it just tries to use the on board sound)

    CPU and 64bit are complete overkill IMHO. Also you can easily get by with only 2gigs of ram.

    If you can afford it, bump up to a 4550 so you wont have to worry about playing HD movies just in case. They are only around ~$20 more
