Help with new 680i G.Skill build voltages

Well yes, the speeds you listed would definitely run faster, but since all memory sticks act in different manners, you would need to try it out to test for stability. It may needs a little more VMem to get lower timings, but the timings you listed should work great too :)

Changing thermal paste on vid card void warrenty?

This can vary from one partner to the next. If it is an EVGA card, it is still covered under warranty as long as you have the original heatsink.

    eVGA updates nForce 680i

Doesn't affect all boards, but it does affect many when trying to increase above 1300MHz FSB with a Quad Core CPU. Also, the difference between the AR/TR is the packaging and warranty, the actual boards are identical though.

    eVGA updates nForce 680i

Core 2 Duo users will be unaffected, in our testing, the overclockability of Core 2 Duo's remain the same, this update affects only Quad Core CPU FSB speeds. (around 450MHz FSB for Core 2 Quad CPU's)

Which voltage to increase on eVGA 680i if 1700+ FSB is not stable?

Try increasing the FSB voltage to 1.5v.

How is this temp. ?? 8800GTX

I believe 640MHz will set the GPU at 648MHz ROP.... That temp is perfectly fine for an OC'd card

    what happened to my 7900gt?

I would recommend to get a replacement on that, you can go to our website, or send me an email at jacobf@evga.com to get a replacement. Make sure to put the original HSF back on before sending it back in though. Thanks, Jacob

For now yes, but we hear your guys requests and we are working on a way to address this.

320MB GTS will my system be a bottleneck?

320MB of texture data would never be a bottleneck, however, for future games with higher texture resolutions it may be... Most games now fit perfectly fine int 320MB of texture memory.

If you have good case airflow, the temps listed in the top thread are normal.
