I am totally confused by this whole temperature offset for my 1700X chip. I took two screenshots The first is stock speed and the second is overclocked to 4.05 and memory to 2400 Mhz as I can't get docp to work for me. The rig is sitting idle but the temp for Package go from 55- 70 C in Ryzen...

At least I now know why my idle temps are between 48 and 55 degrees and corsair link reports 27-33ish

I picked up the 1700X, ASUS X370 pro, 16 gig G.Skill 3000 mhz memory, and Corsair 110i to keep it cool. I cannot get the memory higher than 2133 tho, not sure why. Other than that its a great system.
