actually the desk was suprisingly stable. Holds my monitors just fine no wobbly legs or bowing of the table. There are actually metal rails that make a skeleton frame underneath the table that aren't visible in pictures. These rails make the table extremely stable.

This may be a little off topic with your SLI problem, but if you gut multiple cards to run extra monitors make sure you get the same series cards if your using vista. For XP you can run different drivers i believe but vista requires you to use a single driver for all your cards. The problem...

Yeah and the A style was cheaper so I opted to that. I believe you can swap out just the legs since our tables are fully customizable. You should call up ikea and just buy the A legs and swap them out.
