    8800GTX Problem Will XFX fix>?

Actually, XFX doesnt have a 30 days to register policy like evga. I had a 6800xt which I had purchased about a year ago, and I registered it about 6 months after I purchased it. Everything went through fine, and its still running strong in my backup machine. ;)

    Opinions needed...band-aid solution

I have to agree with NKDietrich, if your going to upgrade, get the 3850. Your psu should be plenty for it.

    OOPS...is my psu enough?

It MIGHT be enough to power the system, but your really really pushing it. My advice would be to get at least a 450watt psu.

    Normal Card Temp

52C is a fine operating temp. The 8600gt does not have a 6 pin pci-e connector, only the 8600gts does.

Need help connecting my new 8800GTX.

If thats the case, yes, you can use one of the split cables with two pci-e 6 pin connectors.

I wasn't paying attention to the price, sorry. But yeah, at that price go ahead and pick up a 8800gt. I have a XFX one and love it. :p

    1.9 Ghz shader clock?

Thanks for replying, actually the stock speed for the 256mb 8800gt is supposed to be 700 (to my knowledge), although I've seen some that are clocked at the normal 900.

    1.9 Ghz shader clock?

Ok, I received my 256mb XFX 8800gt today, and decided to do some overclocking with rivatuner to get a little extra performance. Stock it comes at 600/1500/700. I was able to get the core up to 740 and the memory up to 900, but what surprised me was the shader clock which i got to 1900 stable...
