    You havent stated what resolution you are trying to run this at. There are alot of things that will cause different FPS rates on identical equipment.

    Drivers are, more than likely, the culpret. The 8xxx drivers are a bit different than the 7xxx drivers. If he uninstalls his current set and then downloads/installs current drivers, that should aleviate this issue. Also, mostl monitors have a driver now so maybe use that as well.

    Most games are not made for single player content. The big thing is the multiplayer. So expect to have finished any SP content in 5-10 hours on just about any game.

    WoW or Guild Wars?

    Why don't you try out WoW. They have a 10 day free trial that you can download or purchase a DVD with the game and a trial key at Gamestop/EBGames for about $2. Draw your own conclusions on this one. They both are MMO games, but are very different.

    Most of the time, you have to use IGP drivers provided by the manufacterer of the laptop. Check out Toshiba's website. I had that problem with my ACER as well.

    PB can globally ban your hardware ID, not just a GUID. The reason is the Zonealarm firewall and if this is the case you are going to have to write to evenbalance.com to appeal the ban.
