If you want to check video rankings of notebooks. Here is a link http://www.notebookcheck.net/Comparison-of-Graphic-Cards.130.0.html
There is a better one, but I cannot find it at this time.
Most UI mods will be able to be updated. I know of quite a few that will be, but some that wont (Omen, etc) due to being incorperated into the Blizzard UI now.
All talents are refunded and free respec. 51-point trees available.
It will be interesting to find out what happens, but we all know that some people will not be happy. ;)
So does anyone in Taiwan complain that any other product gets cancelled due to any other reason? Car manufacterer cancels model to make a different one. Do they get complaints?? Do they get investigated?? Probably not.
I think people just need to leave Microsoft alone for petty things such...
Drivers are, more than likely, the culpret. The 8xxx drivers are a bit different than the 7xxx drivers. If he uninstalls his current set and then downloads/installs current drivers, that should aleviate this issue.
Also, mostl monitors have a driver now so maybe use that as well.
I picked it up and didn't like somethings about it. The grid is terrible (some quests are kill 200 of a specific type of mob). Also, I found that alot of the mobs are the same, but just a different level. I think i counted 14 different types of mob you have to kill.
It wasn't a bad MMO and...
Most games are not made for single player content. The big thing is the multiplayer. So expect to have finished any SP content in 5-10 hours on just about any game.
Why don't you try out WoW. They have a 10 day free trial that you can download or purchase a DVD with the game and a trial key at Gamestop/EBGames for about $2.
Draw your own conclusions on this one. They both are MMO games, but are very different.
Most of the time, you have to use IGP drivers provided by the manufacterer of the laptop. Check out Toshiba's website. I had that problem with my ACER as well.
I can say that the port to PC was very good. My friend has it for XB360 and we play together sometimes. They are identical products.
And I know what you mean by EA. They have messed up so much that if I see EA on the box, I won't buy it unless they can provide a good demo. And even then, I...
Activision made a huge announcement about this before the game was released. They had such a large distribution just for the consoles that they contracted it out to Aspyr. Now I am not sure what the huge deal is about this, but I guess some people are very picky.
As for the GH3 PC patch that...
PB can globally ban your hardware ID, not just a GUID. The reason is the Zonealarm firewall and if this is the case you are going to have to write to evenbalance.com to appeal the ban.
What I find entirely stupid is NCIX US and Canadian sites. The US site is 226.xx and the Canadian site is 254.xx. I can never figure out why this is the fact as the Canadian dollar has been at par or slightly higher than the US dollar for a couple months now. And they cannot say that they had...
If you are looking for an SLI motherboard (and a good one for OC'ing, etc) and it has to be an Asus board. Look at the Asus Crosshair or the model below it Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe
There are many other models for you at different price ranges. Check them out, but make sure you are searching for...
For anyone that buys a new processor to put into an existing mainboard, the first thing you should always do is look at updating to the newest and current bios. This will save you alot of headaches and time in the future.
But then, all you [H] people out there know that already. :)
If i remember right, the ASUS board came with 2 SATA cables included with it. If I am wrong, it will have one at least.
As for the video card. Sapphire is a good company, but I hear that HIS is very good as well. But really, they are just AIB retailers using the reference board and such, but...
DX10 "will" be a great step in gaming. The thing is that the game creators really need to learn how to code in DX10 alot better. It is a learning curve (just like DX9 was back in the day) and you will start to see better stuff late next year/early 2009. And all of this that I am putting here is...
I think that I am a minority in this, but I have to say that I would like to have more content in a game than realistic/stunning graphics.
The games 5-10 years ago were much better planned and had alot better content than today's games. I cannot remember a game that I have played in the last...
Most DDR2 memory runs at 2.0v or higher
I have the Asus M2N-E which has a max voltage setting in the BIOS of 1.95v. The memory I have is the OCZ Platinum which says 2.0-2.1v needed. I have had no problems with running at 1.95v (according to the bios).
If you are very concerned about the...
Hiya.... anyhow to make a long story short, I am looking to update my aging 4200+ processor. I don't think I will go to Phenom at this time as I don't want to get an AM2+ board yet.
Should I go all the way up to the 6400+ or does anyone else have any other suggestions.
FYI, I am not...
Blizzard has never given a hard release date on any product they have made. They only finally announce the release about 3-4 months before it ships. This way, they can delay it as long as they need to without making people made. (Like ID did with ET:QW)
AMD has stated that they are not making any "enthusiast" cards anymore and are creating video cards in the mainstream area. They stated this over 6 months ago. They feel that more people will purchase a 200-300 dollar card than people will purchase a 600-800 dollar card.
So if you want the...
Not sure if you can use 2x 3870's with your need of 3 PCI slots. The 3870 is a dual slot design. It might eat up too many slots and you will lose 1 or 2 of your PCI area's due to it.
I am not sure if the different manufacterers have different cooling options. But one may have a single slot...
Wierd thing is that I have purchase Sapphire cards for quite a number of years. Never had a single problem with any of them. Yet my friend bought Powercolor x1900XT and had to RMA it 3 times due to problems in the first year.
So, I guess it is just preference. :D
If memory serves me correctly. the 3800+ is dual core.
the problem lies that the Adobe program is using all of your processing power at certain points of the program.
What I suggest to do is to go into your processes list and set the core affinity on both the wow.exe process and the...
I am going to assume that you have the cables hooked up correctly to your soundcard and sub (green and black cables are connected). Also, you should not have that "matrix" button pressed. All that does is change the audio quality in 2.1 sound and should not be engaged in 5.1 mode (see...
PC games rarely have a co-op mode that is playable on the same computer. Games that usually do are sports games or direct ports from consoles (Like Lego Star wars).
Most will have LAN connection, internet games, etc. So you may be out of luck with this and have to get a console.
Depending on where you bought your CPU. Some places do have a 30 day price guarantee. So if in that range and the place you bought your CPU, you may just get a refund on the difference.
I noticed that you have a high OC. Maybe lower your overclock a bit or just remove it and see if the same issue arises. I have learned that a high OC such as yours can sometimes make certain things great, but buggers up others.
If you got problems and continually think that Blizzared f'ed up. Cancel your account and don't play WoW anymore. The only way companies listen is when the pocketbook gets hurt a bit.
I can say that there is something definately wrong.
I am a WoW player with a 1900XT 512 and AMD 4200+, screen resolution 1680x1050 (naitive resolution for my monitor). Everything is stock, nothing overclocked. I have zero problems that you are having. I get 40-45 fps in Shatt, and since i run...
In all honesty, the "tweaked" drivers from either NGO or Omegadrivers are very good. I have been using them for all my ATI products for quite a number of years. I have used them on a 8500LE, 9600XT x800PRO and current x1900XT.
So if you want, try them out. They don't hurt your system any.
