Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I am trying to find a reputable dealer that is selling the i7 3770T CPU at a reasonable price and I am having a tough time of it. Anyone know of a reputable place to buy this CPU at that has a price close to the Intel tray price of $194. Most of the distributers do not carry the item or require...
I picked 5 of these up for $149 at Fry's on Friday. Their Friday ad has these in store only at this price. I think the price is good for quite a few days but you should check the Friday ad on the Fry's site to ensure the deal is still on. It says limit to 1 per customer but I still got 5...
My vote goes with the Lenovo. I have had the e6500 and the top lower left bezel next to the tackpad became extremely hot. Core i7 users are reporting the same problem with the 6510 as their palm rests just above a very hot CPU when it is under full load. Also both the Dell and Lenovo are in...
Watch out with these drives. Many are old stock with original bad firmware. I bought some last time this deal came around with BB and the drives were manufactured 7 mos prior to purchase also creating a warranty problem with Seagate due to the way Seagate claims their warranty works. Returned...
This is old stock with old firmware that causes cache not to be read. Numerous stories of BB trying to clear these old drives out. I bought one with Manufacture date Oct 2007 also causes a warranty problem with Seagate. If you buy these open in the store and check to see if it is the latest...
The Seagate drives I got from BB were 32mb versions and .11. There is a 16mb 1T Seagate drive in the 7200.11 product mix; but they are not the ones in this sale. Just look at the BB ad and do a google search of the Seagate part number and it will telly you what this drive is.
Picked up 4 at BB today, Friday, for $189 for a new NAS. Price matched Frys $189 to get the Sunday price. BB was not to impressed with the Sunday BB price but had to give it up when I showed them the Fry's ad. 10% coupon was not accepted but I can always go to another BB and see if it will...
They do. Go to the Netgear ReadyNAS support forum and download load the latest beta version of Radiator and you are set to go. There is also a thread about these drives and the firmware beta version in the compatibility sub forum.
They are on to this one. Shelf in Walnut Creek in CA clearly states $399 less $150 coupon for $249. Tried to talk by this at register and told the coupon is already in $249. this deal is dead.
If you decide you are going to buy all 3 NEC's you probably should buy them all at once. The 3o inch of the NEC 2690 is rumored to be around the corner and probably will be shown at CES this year. Considerr the 2490, a slightly more affordable and highly satisfying display. NEC also has...
