Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
From a reliability standpoint are these boards you are mentioning as solid as the Intel BadAxe2? After living through the 680i I really want the most reliable thing even if it is a bit older technology.
This is a known problem and I had this as well, there is absolute horrible banding if you have it on the wrong setting. In the OSD there are a few settings for "Multimedia", "Gaming", etc or something like that. You set it for the desktop use one and you will no longer get any of the banding...
I currently have an EVGA 680i that is basically hit and miss. I want to switch to the most reliable board possible for an e6600, 4GB OCZ6400, and 8800GTS that also performs well. Could I get some suggestions? The 680i is just too flakey even at stock speeds.
Thanks.
I installed an artic freezer 7 about 3-4 weeks ago and everything seemed to be fine until yesterday. When I turned my system on yesterday the fan was amazingly loud and sounded like it was grinding.. although I checked and it wasn't hitting any wires or anything. After a couple of minutes the...
I don't game on this box it is for development, and when using audio I only use studio headphones. There is no need for any other speaker setup... if I wanted that I would use my 7.1 setup on my theatre system.
All 30" monitor panels have no scalar and DVI-D inputs only. You could use an HDMI->DVI if you have the 360 elite. Note though that it will drop to 1280x800 resolution no matter what. If you want a monitor that is also great for the 360 look at the 24/27 panels, or one of the 37" TVs.
I just recently switched over to dual 30" HCs and man the amount of desktop space is just amazing. At first I tried a single 30" with two 2007FPs but after seeing how amazing the 30" is I swapped in for dual 30" displays. I couldn't recommend this monitor enough, especially after calibration...
I see there was a forum rollback of some kind as I am missing some posts. Anyways due to problems using multiple GPUs of different families in Vista I decided against using the 3 monitor display array and I have now switched to dual displays:
Yes I believe it is a problem with the 3007 because when having both the 3007 and 2007 beside each other and each one running at 6500K and 3007 is very dingy and yellowish whereas the 2007 still displays the correct white level. Hopefully the new one will get here soon :)
From experience and having integrated both I can tell you that it is because they have different specialties and aims in the market.
Havoc has much better support for mixing animation and physics together right out of the box. Sure you could do this with Aegia but you have to realize there...
Isn't changing the temperature to 9300k just getting around the problem? This is what I first thought to do, but then started questioning why I am the only person that has to do this, and everybody else has a display that ships showing proper white at 6500K. I'm going to call tonight and...
