    well the AC97 audio was enabled in my BIOS. the Nvidia firewall software. How do I turn it off? Magoo ofcourse your sound cards would work. They would probably work for me too if I had them installed. But im having trouble with the onboard sound device. I don't own any sound cards right now.

    nah, i don't think any of that stuff in the front is connected. Anyways, how do I go into the BIOS to check to see if my audio device is enabled? Some people seem to have fixed thier problem by updating thier BIOS.
