I bought one of these for my build last week and am loving it, though the cables are stiff and not super flexible I'm using a H75 in my Ncase M1 and it provides ample room to hide the cables in the wide open lol.

According To Hardware Canucks The audio chipset for the Maximus VII Gene is Realtek ALC1150 based. If we do have the exact same audio as the Maximus VII Gene then this part of the review is pretty relevant to us and gives us some insight of whats to come!! :D...
Closely based yes, but this is the second version, SupremeFX Impact II which hopefully resolved issues with the first version? I recall a lot of people saying they where getting pops and crackles in the first batch.
