I used to have one for my boot drive. The 10K rpm is noisy and if you have a bad mounting I remember the whole hdd cage resonating. Its a good deal.

How about the HAF 912. It can support 200mm fans in the future and comes with 120mm fans. This way your buddy has a case he can increase cooling on his own. It also is a tiny brother of the HAF series. They are about $55 usd most places. HAF 912

My vote would be with the CM 690 II Advanced. It has better water cooling support. It can also support removable hard drive bays. The cable management is easier than the PC-k62 because the Lancool has no hole to route the EPS 12V 8 pin!

You should research more because I owned a Scout and it had this filter under the PSU properly. If I wanted to I could mount my power supply in the case upside down as well since the Scout and many other cases from other companies have both sets of holes. The power supply filter is right there...

Those cases above with exception of P183 are +4 years old. If you count the original Antec 900, Antec 300 and P180 its almost like Antec's design stood still for the last 4 years. They still use the same bodies as 4 years ago and terrible hard drive placement that forces the hard drive cables...

The HAF 912 also has a removable/rotatable hard drive cage. This means you have room for large graphics cards, or can rotate them like Antec 300. Its not painted in the interior though.

Try the Storm Scout. It has great cable management, is inexpensive $80 and it has built in handles. The handles are steel reinforced, and even though the case is steel its lightweight.

Note the 600T is the only chassis there without a side panel intake fan. These really have helped to cool my CF cards, so my suggestion is either you settle for higher temperatures, or mod a hole in the side yourself.

Reading some reviews I would go with the HAF X. It was co-developed with nvidia to use the ducting that cools the video cards so they wont hit their thermal limit. For the HAF X, you will need a 100-150cfm fan in the front duct to blow into the video cards.
