Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
2500k vs E3-1290 Xeon
I got the E3-1290 yesterday and had it up and running in no time. Long story shortened, for gamin I'm not seeing a smidgen of performance increase, but for some tasks like encoding I see small increase.
One interesting note, E3-1290 comes out of the box multiplier...
ON the 2500k Replacement / Gaming / productivity – consider an older Xeon processor for flexibility.
I'm currently sticking with my 2500k for now, however I'm eyeing ebay Xeon 1290 and other socket 1155 replacements for 3 reasons. Noted, I did grab a gtx 1060 last year for about $140, which...

for local content I recommend using SERVIIO to turn your pc into a media server. its a very lightweight program that can transcode on the fly and stream any format media to any DLNA device (which is an older media streaming protocol, so almost all new smart tvs, iphones, androids, ps3, xbox...
is it just me but the early upgrade plans for att users feels like a ripoff to me. At first I was excited because the plan comes with phone insurance also, but after I read the details, it just sounded like a blatant ripoff. Heres why: att already charges a premium for thier service and prices...
is this like the "signal booster" att tried to sell to customer with the "benefit" of better coverage at home, riding on the backbone of the customers internet service, while charging regular usage charges?
people say they don't watch ads, but its not true, maybe you tune out toothpaste, life insurance and garbagr bag ads, but we all watch movie previews, frys ads, victoria secret ads and ferrari ads. Honestly we are just flooded with ads all day long and even if your using your tablet while the...
