I want to buy a 7200rpm hardrive around the 100-150$ mark for gaming only. Usually in benchmarks the higher density Hard drives, (500gb etc) seem to perform better then lower 150 or 250 drives.

Well, as long as there is not FPS decrease, I will go for it just for more space without reinstalling the OS on another drive.
If there is not FPS increase, thats fine. =)

I have been told by a local friend of mine, that gaming performance can be slightly better, and also your OS, by installing and running games on a separate HD then the OS.
I am not talking a RAID setup, just using a second formatted HD in your computer, to which you manually install games...
Like I said earlier, I like to overclock but not to the extreme. I want to know its fast, but also completely stable.
Besides 3.2ghz from 3.0 isn't that much of a big deal. But 2.13 to 3.0 is a big difference, which is what I already have done.
