Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the link to Greenbutton...an interesting read. Although it is possible to do, it seems like its almost as much a pain in the arse as it would be to just re-install everything. Also, I can could get completely rid of software trails in the registry if I go with a fresh install. Now...
Currently I have XP Pro installed on my computer but wish to run MCE (which I know is basically the same except for network domain stuff). I have so many applications installed right now that I don't want to spend a week re-installing them with a fresh install.

Didn't this provide decent ram cooling since the air will blow through the blades/heatpipes? I thought that was what I read in the article, but that was a few weeks ago and i'm kinda lazy right now and don't feel like reading it again.
I have a maxtor 10 250GB 16MB Sata drive in my new system and its a lot faster than my old WD drive, but thats not surprising cause it was like 3 years old. Just so you know, NCQ really wont offer you any noticeable performance increase in a single user environment. Its meant more for server...
some of the problems are as follows...
1) Sometimes the bios won't recognize the newer Maxtor 10 drives w/16MB buffers but a firmware update sometimes fixes this.
2) Some people have killed their ram both while overclocking using the 5V+ rail on their ram, and while not overclocking at all...
If your desk is wood why not just cut out part of it? That is assuming its not a swanky desk but one from IKEA or something. You would just have to cut out a hole with a holesaw, its not that hard. And, while your at it you could cut a hole out for the PSU fan to blow air to and just make it...
