Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hello all,
I was lurking and it seems all the recent new build discussions, the folks said they weren't gaming on them. I am out of the loop on the hardware these days and my buddy wants to start gaming with me. Probably the most intensive thing we would be playing would be Rocket League or...
Not going to overclock. Wasnt interested to do overclocking.

And I'm not sure I see the benefit of an unlocked board, 45 extra dollars to do not much overclocking according to the review.
wow, thanks for the fast response! that was a good idea.
I brought up this motherboard for instance, listed for $78

Talking to support and they are trying to say that the monitor requires at least a r7 260... which in the manual it says:
System requirement Free-Sync function
1. Free-Sync function is working with DP/HDMI1/HDMI2 DP : 48~240Hz HDMI1:48~240Hz(HDMI2.0) HDMI2: 48~120Hz(HDMI1.4)

i was thinking that since they are displayport 1.2, and displayport 1.2 supports 1920x1080 @ 240hz that it shouldn't be a problem especially considering im playing older games and get extremely high fps. and even in rocket league i get 240 fps atleast.
I know my cards are a bit outdated but they have Displayport 1.2 on them, but this 240hz monitor I picked up is capped at 144hz. Yes, I read the monitor manual and I made sure to install the driver for the AOC AG251FZ. I even tried using CRU to manually add the res+hz Anyone else run into this...
Answering with "Get another card." is not helpful nor does it answer the question.
To update, I've since put a fresh installation of Windows on my other motherboard (Intel DP67BG), installed the latest (non-beta) Catalyst Control Center back on, and still don't see the performance increase...
